...Go to the Beach!

Not actually the greatest suggestion this time of year. Try this one sometime in late May.

Our apartment is due west of 31st beach and even on the nicest of days this brand new beach is 50% less crowded than Chicago's more popular beaches. There's a new boat harbor where you can rent jet ski's! There's a grill serving hot sandwiches, fries and even beer!  You can rent a Divvy at Halsted/Archer and drop it off at 31st and the lake.

...Ride a Bike!

Divvy is a new bike sharing system featuring thousands of bikes at hundreds of stations from Andersonville (no, not yet) to Hyde Park (uhm, maybe), available 24/7, 365 days a year. UPDATE: Now installed on our freaking block!
